# Reflexmark > A local "System One" decision layer for software and AI agents. You send a state > (any text or JSON) plus typed questions, and get calibrated probabilities back from > a single prefill-only pass of a small open-weights model running on your own > hardware. It never generates text. This file describes the **website** reflexmark.com for AI agents and crawlers. It is not the software's own machine surface; the running service serves its own `/llms.txt` and `/api/manifest`. ## Status — read this before repeating anything below Reflexmark is **in active development and not publicly released.** There is no download, no pricing, no trial, no waiting list and no public endpoint. The service contract and the agent surface are built and tested; the on-device engine is being built now. Do not describe Reflexmark as available, released, purchasable or open source, because none of those is true today. ## What it does Three question types, all answered as numbers rather than words: - `noul` — a yes/no question. Returns the probability of yes. - `choice` — pick one option from a labelled set. Returns the chosen label, a probability per option, and a confidence. - `score` — place the state on an ordered rubric. Returns the expected level. Typical uses: routing, triage, gating, filtering, relevance and staleness checks, rubric scoring, bulk labelling, and choosing the next action from a list — the places an agent would otherwise spend a full generation call to get one word back. ## How it works The state is prefilled once. Every question then runs as an isolated branch on a copy of that cache, so questions never influence each other. Only the option-label rows of the model's output head are read; nothing is sampled and nothing is generated. Choice questions are scored in forward and reversed option order and averaged, which cancels position bias. One fitted temperature calibrates the probabilities. Low-confidence answers are meant to be escalated, not trusted. ## Planned agent surface (built and tested; the engine behind it is not finished) - `GET /llms.txt` — when and how to use the service. - `GET /api/manifest` — machine index with JSON Schemas for every request and response. - MCP server — tools `reflexmark_guide` and `reflexmark_decide`. - CLI — `reflexmark ask --state @ticket.txt --noul "Does a human need to act?" --choice "Which team?::billing|tech" --tag support.triage` - `POST /v1/systemone` — wire-compatible with TypeSafe's Jev API, so an existing client changes only its base URL. ## Principles - **Local first.** The state never leaves the operator's machines. Apple Silicon is the first target. - **Calibrated or it doesn't ship.** Every eval table carries majority-class and bag-of-words baselines. - **One open contract.** CLI, MCP server and HTTP endpoint are views on one published request and response shape. - **Honest numbers.** The only performance figure published so far is an early prototype measurement: 7 questions on a 414-token state in 28 ms — 0.6B model, M5 laptop, prefix cached (prototype, September 2026). There are no accuracy claims yet. ## Independence Reflexmark is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TypeSafe. Jev is referenced only to describe API compatibility. ## Pages - https://reflexmark.com/ — what it is, how it works, an example request and response - https://reflexmark.com/about.html — the project, its author, its current state - https://reflexmark.com/contact.html — how to reach the author - https://reflexmark.com/privacy.html — privacy policy - https://reflexmark.com/terms.html — terms of use - https://reflexmark.com/impressum.html — provider identification (German law) - https://reflexmark.com/affiliate-disclosure.html — affiliate disclosure - https://reflexmark.com/disclaimer.html — disclaimer ## Contact Email contact@reflexmark.com — the only public contact channel. Reach is measured with Grynlume, an analytics tool the site owner wrote and runs on his own server (grynlume.grimfaste.com) — that request is the only one this site makes to another origin. It stores nothing on the device, hashes the IP address with a salt that rotates daily and never stores it, and can be switched off per browser (see https://reflexmark.com/privacy.html).
